From China to India – An Independence Day
In a gesture of solidarity and warmth, employees of tech giant UCWeb, the developer behind UC Browser, India’s No.1 mobile browser with over 48% market share (as per StatCounter), put up a flash mob sequence at its headquarters in Guangzhou (China) to mark India’s forthcoming Independence Day. Dressed in the Indian tri-colour, employees danced to the popular patriotic song ‘Rang De Basanti’, wishing their counterparts and huge fan base in India.
Kenny Ye, MD, UCWeb India said, “We want to convey our wishes to not just our users and employees in India but the entire nation, as the world’s largest democracy celebrates its 69th Independence Day. India remains our largest overseas market and we are deeply committed to it.”
