So how have you all been..!!
In the previous article I emphasized on breakfast, so you might be thinking about the healthy options as well.
Well, here we are.. exactly stressing on healthy options.

There are a variety of breakfast options available like –

The American breakfast
The French breakfast
The Indian breakfast, etc.

The options depends on us. Each breakfast contains the most widely used food option and comes along with calorie count of each respective food cultures. For example the American breakfast would normally include option of poached eggs or omelet, a fresh fruit juice, milk and cereals; and a plate full of fresh fruit salad. Likewise the french would include beans on toast and the Indian would include an option of paratha with curd.
But now world is changing.. we are not restricted to the categorized breakfast system anymore. Today, we are open to an array of not only breakfast options; but to all food options available to us.
We all have in some time or the other considered cereals and milk as a breakfast option. This is not an Indian option of morning meal..with the passing time we are accepting the change that comes along with the time.

No matter what you include in your diet.. an ideal morning meal includes a balanced mix of the following:

→ fresh juice/milk/dairy product
→ fruits
→ a light food item
→ few almonds or other dry fruits.

Sharing with you a simple and fast recipe of a breakfast item:

Cottage Cheese filling with an Indian pancake

For the pancake:

  1. Mix in 1 cup gram flour, pinch of red chilli powder, salt according to taste, some finely chopped coriander leaves, add enough water to make a runny paste.
  2. Now heat a tawa. Grease with little olive oil and spread a laddle full of the mixture and spread evenly. Cook both sides. Keep aside.

For the cottage cheese filling:

  1. Take 1/2 cup cottage cheese mix it with finely chopped tomatoes, onions, chillies and vegetables of your choice. Add the following seasoning; salt, pepper, a pinch of sugar, juice of half a lime, cumin powder, red chilly powder.
  2. Mix it well.
  3. Now take the pancakes and put this filling in the center and cover.

Enjoy the delicious pancakes healthy yet tasty!!
